Thinking about putting a piece of tape on the Traction control button in Dad’s F-150 that says “BITCH SWITCH” or “BITCH MODE”. Should I do it?
P.S. For those who have one and want to do snownuts, hold the button for 5 seconds. I don’t know if it works on our ‘16, but Google says it does in a 2011.

Yes, absolutely.

I don’t get it... TCS is normally on by default... leaving it on makes you a bitch... pressing that button makes you not a bitch.

Say Mustang Mode and you’re golden.

But traction control is turned on everytime you start the vehicle, soooo...

Okay, “Toggle Bitch Mode On/Off”

Practical joke.

True. Perhaps “BITCH MODE ON/OFF”. I honestly want to see if he notices it right away. You think he would, but he doesn’t notice me turning on the seat heater in Summer, so....

Make it Drift mode, since it’s a Ford

Not a terrible idea.

That’s another good idea.

If my son ever contemplated doing anything to my car he would be conjuring up “old man anger”, he intuitively knows to leave things alone. Don’t fuck with a man’s car

Not helpful, but sort of relevant. I had a Mazda 626 with the swinging dash vents. With black and white paint pens, I changed the “swing” button to the “swag” button. Hugely popular with intoxicated passengers.

I would never do anything that couldn’t easily and effortlessly be removed. I’d use the least sticky tape I could find and leave a bit of a roll of sorts so he could just pull it off.

We tried to go sliding in the snow. ESC didn’t turn off. Apparently you have to hold the button down.

Option 2, Don’t buy cars with ESC or traction control....basically cars built before 2008.

My truck (1996 Dakota) doesn’t have it thankfully. Dad loves classics, but believes there should always be one ‘newer’ car in the family just incase something happens. Not sure if I agree, but I can see where he’s coming from.
